Yapincak vaiety is native to Tekirdag on the European part of Turkey. Grown in a single vineyard, it is fermented in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 180C, and only 10% is barrel fermented in French oak. The wine kept with its lees ‘sur lie’ to give complexity.
The nose is aromatic with rich notes of lemon, quince and linden. Lovely citrus on the palate too- bright and crisp, and full in the mouth with a pleasant acidity and minerality.
