A dry red grown and bottled in Central Anatolia Turkey, Capadoccia. Medium ruby in the glass, this wine is made from the Öküzgözü grape variety, it is bright ruby-colored with red fruit aromas of raspberries, plums, red currant and cherries and well as hints of mint. On the palate medium body, balanced, fruity and fresh, excellent acidity presenting soft tannins one would expect from the Öküzgözü grape variety. Its name is said to refer to the resemblance of the large, fleshy berries to a bull’s eye. Very comparable to the characteristics of the Pinot Noir. Goes well with roasted lamb and soft cheeses.
