Paşaeli “Blush” Çalkarası 2023
 
Discover Çalkarası, an indigenous Turkish red grape producing wonderfully fresh and aromatic rosé in the high-altitude vineyards of Çal, Denizli.
 
The vines grow between approximately 850–1,000 metres above sea level, where warm Aegean days and cooler nights help preserve freshness and aromatic intensity. The head-trained vines average around 25 years of age and grow in soils combining sand, limestone and clay.
 
After hand harvesting, the fruit is fermented in stainless steel and matured on fine lees for approximately three months, adding texture while retaining the wine's bright, refreshing character.
 
In the glass, expect an attractive apricot-blush colour with aromas of tangerine, strawberry, raspberry and delicate blossom. The palate brings juicy citrus, floral character and hints reminiscent of Turkish delight, finishing long, crisp and refreshing.
