The Ancyra series takes its name from the ancient city of Ankara, the heart of Anatolia and the place where this winemaking journey began. “Ancyra,” meaning “anchor” in Latin, was one of Ankara’s earliest names and has long symbolized strength and heritage. Rooted in the lands once ruled by Phrygian King Midas, this wine carries forward that legacy with modern finesse.
Ancyra Narince is crafted from the native Narince grape, grown in the Tokat region and sourced from old vineyards that lend depth and character. The area’s transitional climate supports the development of bright acidity and expressive aromatics, essential qualities for this distinctive white wine.
Fermented and matured entirely in stainless steel tanks, the winemaking process preserves the grape’s natural vibrancy and freshness. The result is a wine that is both pure and full of life, showcasing Narince’s signature elegance.
In the glass, it shines a bright yellow. The nose is instantly inviting, with aromas of fresh citrus and juicy nectarine. On the palate, it is rich and aromatic, offering a cheerful yet balanced expression. Its vibrant acidity and persistent finish make it a lively and refreshing companion at the table.
Best enjoyed chilled at 6–8°C, Ancyra Narince pairs beautifully with shellfish, octopus salad, grilled chicken or fish, lightly sauced pastas, and soft, fresh cheeses.
