Egeo Sauvignon Blanc 2023 is made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc, one of the world’s most noble white grape varieties. The grapes are sourced from the Güney subregion of Denizli, grown at an altitude of 750 meters. This high-altitude site, with its clay-calcareous soils mixed with gravel, offers ideal conditions for producing fresh and vibrant wines. The vines, aged 15 to 20 years, are trained using the Guyot method and spaced at 3 x 1.5 meters. Yields are carefully managed to 50 hectolitres per hectare to ensure concentration and quality. The grapes were hand-picked in September 2023, benefiting from a transitional climate marked by mild, rainy winters and hot, windy summers.
A gravity-flow system was used to gently handle the fruit, followed by fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve the wine’s natural aromatics and freshness. It was then matured on its fine lees in stainless steel, enhancing texture and complexity.
This wine shows a bright, pale-yellow colour. The nose reveals fresh aromas of stone fruit and zesty lime. On the palate, it is marked by crisp acidity, balanced fullness, and a long, persistent finish.
Egeo Sauvignon Blanc is an ideal match for grilled chicken, fish, shellfish, sushi, seafood pasta, and both goat and Tulum cheeses. Best served chilled at 6–8°C to highlight its refreshing character and vibrant profile.
