This expressive white wine is crafted from grapes grown in our vineyard nestled in the Thrace region of northwestern Turkey, near the village of Şarköy in Tekirdağ. Located just 200 meters above sea level in the sea-facing foothills, the vineyard benefits from a coastal influence that moderates the climate and enhances the wine's balance and freshness.
The region experiences cool, rainy winters and warm, sunlit summers, with average temperatures reaching 28°C in August and cooling to 24°C in September. The vines are bush-trained and thrive in sandy soils, cultivated using conventional farming methods that respect the natural environment and promote healthy, concentrated fruit.
Harvested on October 6th, 2023, the grapes were carefully pressed as whole clusters to preserve their delicate aromatics. Fermentation took place at 18°C in a mix of stainless steel tanks and 300L oak barrels. To enrich the wine’s texture and add complexity, 35% of the blend was matured on its fine lees in oak barrels for five months.
In the glass, the wine glows with a golden hue. The nose is opulent, revealing layered aromas of caramelized citrus, toasted almonds, and warm apple pie. On the palate, it is creamy and indulgent, offering generous flavours of baked apple and a delicate touch of nutmeg. Yet, for all its richness, it maintains a lifted character, finishing with a tangy minerality that leaves a lasting impression.
