Kavaklıdere Egeo Chardonnay 2023
A rich and elegant barrel-fermented Chardonnay from the high-altitude vineyards of Güney, Denizli, in Türkiye’s Aegean wine region.
The Chardonnay vines grow at approximately 800 metres above sea level in clay-calcareous soils mixed with gravel. The elevation helps preserve natural acidity while the warm Aegean growing season develops ripe fruit and concentration.
The wine is fermented in French oak barrels and matured for approximately eight months on its lees, adding texture, depth and subtle oak complexity.
In the glass, expect ripe white fruit, delicate florals and refined oak, followed by a full, layered palate with fresh acidity, subtle savoury minerality and a long, polished finish.
