Egeo Chardonnay 2023 is made from Chardonnay, one of the noble white grapes of world winemaking, grown in our vineyards in the Denizli-Güney region. The grapes are sourced from 18-year-old vines planted at an altitude of 800 meters, where they thrive in clay-calcareous soils mixed with gravel. The region's transitional climate, with its mild, rainy winters and hot, dry summers, creates ideal conditions for producing elegant, structured wines.

The vines are trained using the goblet method, with a planting density of 2 x 1 meters and a controlled yield of 50 hectolitres per hectare. Harvested by hand in late August, the grapes are gently handled through a gravity-flow system. Fermentation takes place in a combination of new, one-year-old, and two-year-old 500-litre French oak barrels. The wine is then matured for 8 months on its lees in the same barrels, enhancing depth and texture through the "élevage sur lies" method.

In the glass, this wine shows a bright, pale golden-yellow hue. The nose is layered and expressive, offering aromas of ripe white fruits, delicate floral notes, and a subtle, refined oak character. On the palate, it is full-bodied and complex, with crisp acidity, a touch of saltiness, and a long, satisfying finish that highlights both freshness and elegance.

Egeo Chardonnay 2023 pairs beautifully with grilled fish, shellfish, paella, and hard cheeses. For the best experience, serve chilled at 6–8°C.
