Paşaeli K2 2021
 
A powerful, premium Aegean red blend from a single vineyard in Kaynaklar, south of İzmir, bringing together Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot.
 
The vineyard sits approximately 235 metres above sea level and combines stony, gravelly soils with red clay. The Mediterranean climate of long, hot, dry summers and cooler, rainy winters provides excellent conditions for producing concentrated, structured red wines.
 
The 2021 grapes were hand-harvested between 13–17 September. Following fermentation and approximately three weeks of skin contact, the wine was matured for 12 months in French oak barrels, including 30% new oak, followed by a further six months of bottle ageing.
 
In the glass, K2 shows a deep cherry-red colour with a vibrant purple rim. Expect concentrated aromas and flavours of dark berries and cassis, complemented by subtle oak spice. The palate is powerful and full-bodied, with rich fruit, chewy tannins and impressive length.
 
Awarded 17+ points by Jancis Robinson, K2 is a compelling example of the depth and quality now emerging from Türkiye’s premium Aegean vineyards.
