This expressive red blend brings together two distinguished grape varieties grown in some of Turkey’s most evocative wine regions.

The Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from a single vineyard in Kaynaklar, a village near İzmir on the Aegean coast. Located at an elevation of 235 meters, the vineyard benefits from a Mediterranean climate and is cultivated using sustainable viticulture practices that prioritize environmental care and grape integrity.

Complementing it is Karasakız, a native Turkish variety grown on the northern slopes of Mount Ida (Kaz Dağları) in Çanakkale, near the ancient city of Troy. This vineyard sits at 500 meters above sea level and follows the same sustainable approach, producing fruit with freshness, depth, and character.

The grapes were hand-harvested in September 2022—Cabernet Sauvignon on the 13th and 14th, and Karasakız between the 18th and 22nd. After careful destemming and gentle crushing, fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks with extended skin contact over three weeks. Regular pump-overs encouraged flavour, colour, and tannin extraction. The wine was then matured for six months in French oak barrels, followed by bottle aging to further develop its elegance and harmony.

Brilliant ruby in colour, the wine opens with aromas of fresh, vibrant fruit, delicately framed by notes of sweet spice. The palate is smooth and supple, with silky tannins and a refined texture that leads into a long, graceful finish.
