Paşaeli SYS 2023 — Sultaniye, Yapıncak & Sıdalan
A fascinating Turkish white blend showcasing three indigenous grape varieties — Sultaniye, Yapıncak and Sıdalan — sourced from different vineyard areas across western Türkiye.
Each variety contributes its own character. Sultaniye, grown at high altitude around Denizli, brings fresh fruit and brightness. Yapıncak, sourced from Yayaköy in Thrace, contributes texture and character, while the lesser-known Sıdalan, grown around the northern slopes of Kaz Dağları in Çanakkale, adds another distinctly Turkish dimension to the blend.
Each grape is vinified separately in stainless steel before maturation on fine lees with regular stirring, adding texture and complexity while preserving freshness.
The result is a pale-gold white with subtle green highlights and aromas of tropical fruit, citrus and delicate linden blossom. The palate is fresh and gently textured, finishing crisp, clean and highly drinkable.
